CameraWatch, the UK leading CCTV compliance body, is delighted to announce the appointment of two non-executive directors to the board, bringing a wealth of industry experience to the team.
The New Chair
Pat Curran, currently Executive Chairman of Secure Smart Card applications( Bell ID0 and FSI (FM Solutions) Ltd.
He is joined by:
Tom Hogg, as CameraWatch's Business Relations Manager.
Welcoming the new directors, Gordon Ferrie, CameraWatch, Chief Executive and founder who stepped down as current chair on 17 March 09, said: "It is with considerable eagerness that I welcome Pat and Tom to the Board. Their established industry reputations as supplier, technology and compliance professionals will further CameraWatch's current work in promoting awareness and compliance in camera surveillance in both the private and public sector UK wide."
CameraWatch is currently involved with project work with ACPOS, the Police Improvements Agency and the ICO. The work of CameraWatch's Compliance & Technical Group includes a Nationwide University CCTV Field Studies, the Introduction of Life cycle Guide to CCTV Compliance and Developing a National CCTV Register. A CCTV Accreditation programme and working with Insurers to advance the knowledge of current CCTV Compliance issues is also being undertaken.
CameraWatch next major Forum will be held at RBS Global HQ on Tuesday 27 October 2009.
